These terms govern your use of heightfast.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the Site.

HeightFast does one thing — as a height converter it converts height between feet and inches, centimeters and meters and shows how the figure compares to growth percentiles and published averages. It converts through a single base unit — centimeters — so a feet-and-inches entry and a meter entry land on the same value, then looks the height up in growth-reference percentile tables. What follows concerns only that tool and the inputs involved in it.

In day-to-day use the tool works only from the height you enter, and it is usually opened for things like converting a height for a form that wants one unit. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.

The service we provide

What heightfast.com offers is a height converter, free of charge and for general information. Results are estimates generated from your input by the method the page describes. Anything relating to the body is an estimate drawn from population data, not a personal measurement, and it is not medical advice and does not diagnose or treat any condition.

No advice relationship

Using this Site does not establish a professional relationship with us, and no result should be treated as professional advice. The judgement about how to use it is yours.

Health and medical limits

Results concerning the body describe an average, not you, and carry no diagnostic weight. They are not medical advice, they do not diagnose or treat any condition, and they should be confirmed with a qualified professional before you rely on them.

Accuracy

Correctness is a goal, not a warranty: results may contain errors and the content may lag changes in the field. Where the underlying method has a margin of error, read the output accordingly.

How you may use the Site

You are free to use the Site for your own purposes, business included. Prohibited: attacking or overloading it, scraping at a rate that harms service, misrepresenting it as yours, and any illegal use.

Who owns what here

The design, wording and code are ours or used under license unless credited otherwise. Linking is encouraged; reproducing large sections needs written permission.

Advertising and third-party links

Advertising, served by outside networks, funds the Site, and some pages reference external resources. We do not control that material and are not answerable for it, and no advert influences a result.

Uptime and changes to the service

There is no uptime promise: tools and pages may be altered, suspended or withdrawn without notice, and the Site is offered as it stands.

What we are not liable for

To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision taken in reliance on a result from the Site.

The law that governs these terms

The terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which the Site operator is established, conflict-of-law rules aside.
